xr 250 baja?. Bought it. Green laned it!

Hi all,
Am looking for a small dual sports just to blat around on and some light grren lanes and have just seen a baja 250 on ebay near me.
Anyone know anything about them?

its basically just an xr250 with big lights isnt it? import only. some jap import xr's have elec start. a good basic bike.

Hired one for 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, good competent trail bike, fun, robust with a seat that will have you standing on the pegs. Andy

Some spares are hard to get
Carb is different & so is suspension

Not to worried about the power, its just as a cheep green laner as the 660 is heavy.
Going to have a look at lunchtime. 2002 made but registered in 2007 for some reason. only light use apparently.. oh and cheap :laugh:

Good for you and cheap at that price.
I expect registered as an 07 as that's when it was imported. I had a WR250F that was an 04 build, but an 06 Reg, so not unusual.

When I got there I saw it was a 02 plate, just brought into the country in 07.

Just insured it fully comp no no claims cause they are on the xtr for £65, well pleased, and the sun is out.....
