Hi Jon

I'm the other one..... Martin

Mark is Bushman

We usually ride together and did our 2011 round world ride as riding buddies. We have ridden together for nearly 20 years now and have done several European trips, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya as well as off roading in Nevada and our RTW via USA and Russia.

Mark recently sent 6 months here with me in Bulgaria providing much appreciated help in renovating our house in the village of Idilevo just 500 metres from the Motocamp.

I'm a girl and hoping to go (solo from Leeds) & would welcome some company incl a few other ladies :)
However, it's too early for me to commit / start booking ferries / B&Bs etc. There's a potential group ride down lead by bushman_uk & that may suit you if you're definitely going :)

Sorry not replying sooner but i am up very early and home very late, cook a meal and sleep and so the cycle begins again. I am back in the UK and have got myself a job for the winter, not as good as the one at Martin's place but the pay is a whole lot better :o).
Thanks Martin i think that will be a summer experience i shall never forget, but i was only to pleased to help.
anyhow end of the mutual appreciation to answer some of the questions, my intention is to get into east Europe as fast as we can, saying that i can ride fast or slow and once a group is formed we shall ride a pace that suites all, it's not a do or die effort it's a holiday.
Depending on the size of the group will depend on where we overnight, the smaller villages and towns may not have the bed space so we would have to head for cities, but all this can be ironed out nearer the time. The route i posted is only a suggestion, not set in stone. If you wish to ride alone then i would give you the co-ordinates of where we will be at night .
As to when i come back at this moment in time i don't have a clue, plenty of options but just not sure yet.
I will be leaving the UK via the chunnel and stop overnight in probably Belgium so that those from the north can come in via Holland and meet up.
All in all i am flexible on all points just want to be available for those who are a little nervous on a trip like this or who prefer to travel with others.
I am not a tour guide, i don't speak the languages, but i have traveled a bit and don't panic easily.I can sleep under the stars or in a 5 star hotel, but i got to have coffee else i am a grumpy sod .

Just to add to Mark's message.....

I may (more than 80% sure that I will) fly back to the UK, pick up my big bike and either ride down with Mark or, if the group is very big or some want to see different sights, I could take a second group which could rendezvous with the others at a point or points on the way down. As Mark says - not set in stone.

I have seen names on this thread saying that they are coming but not registered on the ABR rallies page so I suppose at some time a comprehensive list will have to be drawn up to get an idea of exact numbers. As we stand at the moment around 40 people seem very keen on this so it looks like being a winner- just hope everyone will love Bulgaria as much as us...just looking out of my window as I type....cloudless, clear deep blue sky and sunshine :)

Me and Jan will be travelling from Manchester so will probably get the ferry from Hull to Holland and hope to join Bushmans group on route say somewhere in Belgium/Germany.
