Steady now, not that sort of 'exposing', don't want to get banned on my first post!

Having 'lurked you long time' thought I really should get around to registering, mainly prompted by a recent thread on the TT600RE which caught my attention as I have one as an ongoing project bike (stand by for my attempt to post a picture of it). Also seems like there are some great competitions to enter as well.
I have enjoyed following many ABR threads on bike trips and kit reviews, I am, I have to admit, a bit of an arm chair adventurer at the moment, I ride many miles on road but have been absent from loose surface riding for several years now, maybe the forum massive will shame me back onto the dirty stuff? No excuse really, I live just a few miles from the edge of Salisbury plain in West Wiltshire.

Bikes I have on the road at the moment are my TT600RE 'project bike' (are project bikes ever finished?) and a 09 Honda Varadero which I've had from new. I really rate the Varadero as a great 'real world' all round machine, comfy, long range, practical and fun. Why are they not more popular?

And before I go, my chosen user name (Latin for Horizon)....it's a blend of dreams and reality.... Dreams, because I like to think of riding free spirited towards the horizon (don't we all). Reality, because it kind of conjures up the image of the angle I'm generally viewing the horizon from as soon as I venture of warm grippy tarmac. Ouch!
No I don't take life to seriously!

Greetings all!
Horizonti.

Welcome and don't worry about exposing your self on here. We are all very used to it.
