We're heading for Cumbria next weekend, same there, plenty to see, little single track roads, winding passes, can't wait!
Enjoy mate! ;)
Got caught in plenty of showers but it didn't bother me one bit, all part of the fun.

Where are you heading in Cumbria? I was up there last week, Windermere to Keswick. Loads of great roads across towards Whitehaven, the Lakes is handy for me, only 1hr 30mins away, have fun.

Nice report and pics Martin

We're all off to the XRV National at Takoda in Kirkby Stephen

Come up if you're around

I love the west coast of Scotland - the further up the less traffic and the roads are so clean that even in the rain there's nearly as much grip as the dry so you don't have to back off - hoontastic!

Sounds like your having a great ride round Scotland ( I love it) glad you came over to introduce yourself.

Me and the wife were staying on Ardnamurchan with the outlaws.
We took the bike so I could show her round the isle of mull. We had a good ride out that day
There's a nice cafe at pennyghaul (on mull) with a friendly welcome.
Cheers mick
Hi Mick,

It was good to bump into a fellow ABRer, glad to hear you've enjoyed your Scotland trip. I looked at Mull but decided to stay on the mainland. Maybe next time I'll tour the Isles. Safe trip back to Yorkshire, might bump in to you again there, it's a favorite place of mine. Often have a bacon butty at Joes cafe in Slaidburn and head over to Higher Bentham.
Hi
Slaidburn is not far from me I'm around that area a lot at the weekends so I will keep an eye out for you

Hi Paul,

The roads were great, can't wait to get back up to west Scotland and find some new roads.

Might try to get up to Takoda at the weekend for a ride

Cheers,

Martin
