I had a 30 years anniversary one and always regret selling it. there will be 2 of us at the Stella. me on my white gs and 1 on a blue Transalp

Out of interest how does it compare with the Yam?

its pretty much better in everyway apart from the sound

quicker and more relaxed at higher speeds
smoother and much less vibey
handles much better
less top heavy
feels nicer off road (in my opinion)
looks better (in my opnion)
better clocks and trip information
similar fuel economy despite being nearly twice as fast.
more safety features like ABS.
more farkling gizmos available

the yam sounds better and you have a great riding position. also a larger tank and more range
