Good biking location - Washington DC

I think I have just found an excellent biking location.

Just sat in Washington DC at the moment (the BA business lounge to be precise) waiting for a flight back to Heathrow, and musing about the last few days.

This place (contrary to my long, and firmly held prejudices) really is rather nice. The weather is warm (if humid) the scenery is beautiful, and the roads are long and well surfaced.

I think it might be a good destination for a bike tour.

Anyone know of any good bike rental places around here?

Nope, can't help with Washington State but it's getting warm and humid here too. Which is good news as I'm riding down to the Gower in South Wales for a long weekend camping.
