Why would I want to sell my bike?
Sorry, I thought it was in the dog house.

Have you fixed/forgiven it?

oh she still is
Problem is its electrical and Stu is a suspension specialist who can rebuild MX bikes very well. But the 640 is a dirtbike with roadbike wiring .
Even the guys at Gear 4 don't have a clue.
Its looking to be cdi or starter relay.
If you bypass electrical stuff and jump the starter its turns over but no spark.
starter/solenoid/cap/plug/coil all be changed or swapped with working parts but no joy.

Have you tried changing the CDI pickup (KTM Part 58439034000 - PULSER COIL)? That caught me for a while on the bike that got stolen.

Was just a thought.

For reference:

Mine ran fine when the bike was cold, but after about a mile of riding it started playing up.

I tested it using this in the end, and found the output to be a little bit low (not sure on the spec) when cold, and really low when warm.

Changed the sensor and it started behaving properly.
