I just thought I'd start a little list of those getting the DFDS ferry at 10.15 from Dover to Calais so when we're meeting we don't leave anyone behind.
If you'd like to add or remove your name please just do a copy and paste so that we can keep it up to date.
1) MarkN
2) Tefflon
3) Q Plate
4) Picos Mestizo
5) Nicko

Re: ABR Dambusters run 2013- The 70th Anniversary of Op CHASTISE
I know this is a way off but I just wanted to throw this into the mix.
On the Thursday night we're not too far from Eindhoven and we have all day to do about 100 miles to our next stop over. Just looking at the maps, would anyone fancy following the Operation Market Garden route, through Nijmegen to Arnhem and visit the John Frost bridge before heading east?
The total mileage for this detour is about 180 miles for the day.

Hi markN
I'm up for that never ridden any were in holland so I am fine with that as you say only 100 miles to our next camp site .
So it would be good to take the day getting there & spend some time sight seeing on route & take some pics of our trip
& the extra mileage is fine with me
Thanks MarkN for posting this

I was just looking at Google Maps to be honest, Brianpicos mestizo wrote:I'm OK with "Operation Market Garden" Day2 (Friday 24th).

Nijmegen, Arnhem, East towards Essen and our campsite, avoiding any motorways. Total miles was about 171.
Before I plot a route I'll have a look at the Michelin map and see if there are any "green" routes in the area etc
