Going to show this sat went last year as well breaks up winter for me.
On shaft drives had 2 bmw gs standard and gsa. Both need final dtive replacements one at 35000 one st 18000 not round the world reliability for me and over 1000 to replace by bmw. I know they can be renewed for a third of the cost but thats still nearly 3 chain and sprocket sets. Not convinced by shaft drive on large capacity abr type bikes.
Just done over 6000 miles on my 2003 multi with a scotoiler not even needed to adjust the chain

Re: Nec bike show
This post made me remember the RE stand and the lovely cafe racer concept bike they had - if the price is right I'd be very tempted with one of those.[email protected] wrote: The Norton stand was nice in a quaint sort of way but then I saw the Royal Enfield stand which had similar looking retro styled bikes but which were nearly a third of the price of the Norton bikes. I can't see how Norton can survive other than as a tiny niche bike producer for people who want to pay silly money just for the name.

Yep, and it's inside hall 1. Just follow the signs to the Yamaha bike park. The entrance is around the back of the hall.
2010 BMW R1200GS Adventure
bike show at NEC
Went up to Birmingham for the bike show on Thursday.
Adventure biking was not very well supported as the likes of Touratech and such not even having stalls.
Either that or I could'nt find them.
DID'NT spend a penny on goodies not like me.
