It doesnt seem to be good time to sell not seems to shift on ebay seems reasonably priced maybe a tad high. Theres quite a few on ebay with no marks and a lot less mileage for similar price. But good luck with sale hope it shifts for you

Cheers mate. I'll just have to wait and see. I'm trying to stay away from eBay because I've not sold on there before and don't really understand all the costs involved.jaz1259 wrote:It doesnt seem to be good time to sell not seems to shift on ebay seems reasonably priced maybe a tad high. Does anybody know if there is a way to offload to a dealer or can you only trade?
Also it was 36°c at home yesterday. That'll be a shock to the system. :cheer:

Some dealers may buy the bike from you but you will lose lads of money on it. If you have a good relationship with one, they may sell it for you on a sale or return basis. Doing this way, you may just have to pay them a commission or a fee for doing so. I've done this in the past with one or two of my bikes.
Hope that helps.

Spend £30 on the side plastic bit and £10 on paint to tidy up where the luggage has rubbed otherwise somebody will try kicking you in the nuts for £500 discount. The mileage doesn't help so condition is key. If a bike looks like it's had a hard life the price will take a battering too especially in today's tough resale market.
I would take some scenic photo's (current ones look a bit back street garage), look at prices on Ebay and then put a classified Ad on there. If no takers after a week change it to an auction.
It's a hard market out there so you have to work hard to sell.
Other option is a 0% creditcard for your air fare.

I agree, take some better pics in a good setting,
Looks a nice bike..
You can stick it on guntree for free, I have started using gumtree as its free and have sold my KLE 500 on there at weekend..
Worth a bash.
I think it would sell for £3500, mite not be what your after but for mileage and condition think its more realistic price, (no offence intended).
GLWS.

I agree..and hope this isn't bad news..
But there are a few for sale in mint condition with 8k or less on them and under two years old all for under 4k.
I am in the market for one but the high mileage and damage rules yours out for me...sorry but best of luck.

Thanks for your honesty fellas. There's a reason I've got bikes in the shed at home, I can't sell anything.
I'll wait till it stops raining and take some more photos and look into eBay.
In the meantime the price is now £3400.
