New Bike

Post by wilky »

Well i got my new bike home last night a 1994 BMW F650 with 11300 miles on it.
Its in great condition, Spent the day giving it a good wash down and polish. and a thourogh check over. I am going to givi it full 120000 service shortly and any thing else i may need, I will also be itting a scott oiler.

will get some pics up tomorrow when i get it back together

I am wanting to add some Engine crash bars but cant seem to find any online. (any suggestions or know of some plans so i can have a set built.)

I may buy/have built a pannier rack,Aluminium panniers and Aluminium belly pan ( i know a guy who can pretty much build anything)

I have been looking on eBay alot but cant see any but tracked down a german company who makes crash bars but are nearly £200 with delivery. i was talking to my dad has the same bike almost exactly apart from his has the crashbars "lucky me" but he has left the bike in Spain so i cant use it for a template for a while.

I have a 97 funduro they are bullet proof, keep your eye on motorworks.co.UK but can be a bit pricey, or contact mickeyboy on here or f650.co.UK he is the man who has umpteen funduros. Welcome to the forum
