On the strength of them I won't be relieving myself of the EXC anytime soon

Remember riding a DRZ out of a boggy lane at the back of santa Pod when the owner had a hissey fit and it felt very stable and workhorse like.
Thanks for the offer Hornet. I need to bring the 640 over to Thetford at some point and ride the sandy lanes :)
Just give me a heads up im going to be out every other weekend from now on infact im going out tomorrow ive missed it more than i thought. At some point I will take a group ride again as it was good fun last year and there are more trails than you can ride in a day(unless your in a real hurry ;) ) oh and your quite right they do plow on through the porridge

In no hurry here, especially on the 640

Just got back from a afternoon greenlaning in the south hams (south devon) me on a 03 drz400s a 61 ktm 450 exc and a 12 ktm 300 exc 6days two stroke .Went though some major water and mud on the lanes ,both ktm,s played up because oF the water all afternoon ,the drz ran perfect no matter what you threw at it and started with a touch of the butten every time not like the seven grand ktm,s. and thats why the drz is king.I would definatlly if you by drz400s then do the 3x3 mod rejet and do the par and solanoid and stick on a new exhaust the diffrence is amazing and yellow is the best colour mine was blue and white but not for long.(if any one is interested in a blue tank blue and white plastics let me know). cheers

I've been out in mine again today, got it soaked as normal, never batted an eyelid, ran as good as ever.

Yellow is best colour, I agree :)

Of course, you can always buy some Acerbis plastics and keep the blue / yellow stuff safe in a box...

That looks so much better.
No matter how new a DRZ is it still looks archaic with that headlamp and tail area.
