David, Great pics of a great tour.
I was lucky enough to do Norway from the luxury of a cruise ship a few years ago and one of the highlights was walking upto and onto the Jostadalspreen glacier, since then I've always wanted to go back by bike and do it all again, you thread has reignited my enthusiasm to get a Norway trip planned in the future.
keep the trip report coming.

Re: Chasing trolls................with pictures
Day 5.
Today's plan was to ride the Troll Highway............it changed a little. T on, tent down I got going in the morning sunshine. The air temp was cool and the road a little damp so heated grips on for awhile. I climbed rt15 to a tunnel, a truck driver waved me down and told me that they where working in the tunnel so suggested that I take the old road rt258.
What great advice, the old road climbed up and up into the forest before opening out onto a platue of snow and ice and sunshine that warmed my face and soul. To say dramatic is a understatement, rivers, waterfalls, ice and nothing for miles. I kept stopping to take pictures and in stead of a 15min ride through a tunnel i spent a rapturous 4hrs crossing the platue and found a German Plane?
After a coffee stop I rode down the mountain to the end of the tunnel I would of pop through, turning off I began the Troll Highway rt 63. Its stunning and you can't help yourself but keep stopping, breathing in the views and trying to capture it in a picture...................and then it gets totally mental. The road is in fabulous condition as it dips up and down along lakes, rivers, waterfalls, sweeping bends lead you dream like into biking heaven. The Transalp getting lighter as I eat everything in my panniers, was on good form. Every now and then I'd leave the road and follow a track. The Troll highway is split with a ferry crossing and what a fabulous view of the dock you get...except my boat went from a little jetty out of sight but who cares.
.............and after mental it just goes off the scale
