I am curious if anyone in here, in particular in the EU, are actively racing in the motorsport disciplin of Moto Gymkhana?
Please let me understand how popular this sport is in EU and if it is rapidly increasing popularity?
For those not familiar with this motorsport disciplin, here are a few introduction videos:

Please participate in this thread if you have any information related to this or if you just are a curious biker like me, considering if this could my future fun riding activity.

Re: Anyone into Gymkhana races?
The Japs have been doing these for years on CBR 400RR's and the like.
There are some youtube vids on the american police bike competing on a similar theme.
Damm good fun !!.
As an Ex bike instructor, we used to set up stuff like this and try it on anything from a 50cc moped to a ST1300.....Excellent !!.

A buddy (a proper biker) of mine wanted to go over to silverstone and compete in a round im sure he would do very well as hes been riding since he arived here on plant earth but tbh im competent (sometimes) but some of these guys are seriously skilled and my manhood would take a battereing watching better riders smash my times with ease

I've done a couple of couple of manoeuvring courses, not in a competitive sport but bloody good fun. I'd like to have a bash at the competitive side if it took off. probably the only area where I might not be left behind at the start line

I have done slow manoeuvring courses with the IAM but nothing like this
It looks really good but id love to see someone do it on a varadero hmy:
Perhaps we should find a car park near one of the ABR camping events :cheer:

I've seen loads of vids on youtube. Looks very difficult but a lot of fun. Apparently NSR250s are one of the best bikes and a idle set to about 7000rpm!!!
