bike economics ie MPG???

I changed one of my bikes two months ago , i bought a Buell Ulyses 1200cc to my suprize
i am getting great MPG ie 180MLS ON 14LTRS and that not hanging around!!

so whats the average MPG on you bike???

60+mpg cruising every where at 80, sticking to 30`s and 40`s, don`t redline it use the torque and avoid motorways and dual carriageways
Filled up in Watton yesterday but had to stick to 60 as cooper in front half the way to Norwich , when he turned off back to normal :cheer: got into the city and the read out said 72mpg

2009 F800GS covered 13500 miles, 7500 miles by me, at an average of 65 mpg (I know, I'm a saddo)

2009 Versys with 7500 on the clock. I'm pretty hard on it. Always returns 62mpg.
I'm 3 teeth down from standard on the back & never seem to need more than 7000rpm.

My mate also has a Uly and he gets good mileage also, 16ltr tank/frame and he can get 150+ but we have mapped it with a straight through exhaust, the 800gs still beats all comers with 250miles out of 16ltrs

The VanVan kicks your arse mate, apart from the fact you get there a day before me so we will ignore that bit. My warning light comes on between 105 - 115 miles. 5.5 litres fills it back to the brim :whistle:

With just me on it mainly round town, ragging it away from every light I'm getting about 80mpg. Out on the open road it climbs to between 90-100mpg depending on how many bags I stick on the back. Off-road, about 75-85mpg.

My little MZ does 250+ miles on 12 litres. The Funduro does about 160 miles on 17 litres. Will be interesting to see what the XR250 does with it's 22 litre tank - if I ever get it finished!

My K1200lt does 50@ 70 mph or56 at 90mph..... yes its more economical at 90 and its at half revs ie 4000rpm
r1100gs about 45 no matter how much its loaded.. only twice has it returned 50mpg
And my te410 husky 70mpg at 70mph
