My decals arrived from Poland today by recorded delivery and I'm in shock! hmy:
The first six decals to fall from the package were Africa Twin logos :woohoo:
This guy has been a total star to deal with! From resizing the decals, to adding stickers that he doesn't even sell in his ebay shop.

I'm not sure that paint should be on that bike though.
This would suit it better.





Anybody how airbrush paint reacts during paint proses? ie doing a little yellow highlighting and black shading before the clear coat.

Ha ha, thats true, not sure if BMW would be happy with the Luftewaffe GS but it would look awesome! I once drove past a smart car that had been done in WW2 german army colours! The bike does look fantastic in RAF colours, so I'll stick to that!

Can't wait to see your bike finished, gonna look awesome!

Not to get off topic, but that was one of a matching pair. At war&peace last year they had a smart car in RAF *spitfire* livery, and one in Luftwaffe *messerschmitt* livery.

Ok Time for a small update, I've been busy with the primer and wet and dry paper and its almost ready for paint. :cheer:

A quick question for JK or any other painters.
While wet sanding the primer on my rear panel I noticed a small peace of masking tape had lifted. This is going to show up as leaked paint, so how do I deal with it without having to redo the whole panel?

for the laked paint, if you havent done so re mask that area to make sure doesnt happen again.

i find that paint thinners cleans up any over spray i you catch it early.

I didn't spray it in the kitchen I promise :unsure: . But the fluorescent light is better for wet sanding and taking photos.
