That's a real pity especially after all the hard work everyone's put in.
I'm tempted to still make a weekend of it (as SWMBO gave me a pass) and try this campsite near Stonehenge.

near Amesbury, although I've not been able to find out if they're flooded too. They do group booking, campfires and have had bike rallies in the past, might be one to remember.

Tis a shame indeed, anyone want a bonfire? can deliver :blink: I dont normally look at weather forecasts but have taken to lately as we are digging foundations or moats as we prefer to call them now. What do you mean by the recce ride? If you are doing some lanes/tracks around the Salisbury Plain area on the Sunday I would be up for it. I live in Frome so could meet anyone interested at a convenient location. Cheers.

Just answered my own question. I should have looked more closely at the dates Herman mentioned before posting. Probably can't do this Sunday unfortunately , I thought you meant next Sunday.
