If that's a baby Vara you'll be coming on then that'll be two of us! More the merrier. I'll be travelling friday afternoon from Kent. I average 65 so if anyone wants to take a slow 3.5 hr ride down take in the scenery/tractors/rush-hour/red bull/squirrels etc have a sing-song type thing...I'll probably leave Dover about 2. Any working types that can get a half day in more than welcome to come screaming past, I find it wakes me up!...

And I'll be bringing a DECENT camera (one from this century) this time so no more pants photos (not photos of pants, before anyone gets any wise ideas for a feeble excuse to create a gag or two)...and when I say "gag", I don't mean......oh God...SHOVELLLL!!!! :)

a few of us are getting down there earlyish, first stop sammy millers for breakfast in the excellent cafe, then unload in the camp.
When i say unload, i dont mean.......

Sunday we rode round the new forest and jurassic coast all day in blazing sunshine, woke up to stair rods yesterday and again this morning, hope the weather improves or i might just not leave the pub all weekend. Are we going to get a summer, do you think?

I've just been looking at the coastal weather for the next couple of weeks and this weather is due to be here for another couple of weeks :( I'm sure though that because we have the sailing events for the Olympics the weather will change with no wind, sunny weather and flat seas for two weeks from around the 20th!!

At the moment the trail/enduro bike ride is looking proper muddy and slippery but give it three weeks and I could do it on the Fazer! I have a nice pile of firewood to dry folks out by anyway, even saved some worktops for Dave to sniff. :S

jim slight change of plans for me - the missus is away which means i get a free pass but also that i need to look after the dog... soooo that means i will no longer be camping... i'll still come down friday arvo, then be down for the rideout after taking the dog for a walk sat morning and should be able to make it on saturday night for a beer... but i will need to crash at my place..

also i have a stack of old hardwood floorboard that need burning so will bring a load of them - they are varnished so you get a mellow buzz, but probably nothing like hermans worktops...
