3 more ABR's do Morocco!

After departing the Col Du Tichka we descended to Marrakech and the temperature touched 40degs, it was stifling, so a decision was made to get on the Motorway north and head for Casablanca for the night.
We hit Casablanca at around 6pm and heading towards the 'Centre Ville'and the hotels.

The traffic was hideous with no control at any junction. So it was every man for himself, e came out unscathed but never caught a glimps of a hotel, the traffic had picked us up and spat us out on the road to Mohamedmedia.

So we cut our losses and got back on the Motorway and ended up at Skhirat and the L'Amphitrite Palace Hotel. It was now dark and we needed to get off the bikes for the night.
2,700 Maroc dirhams for a triple room with breakfast :S a lot of money for Morocco but it was luxury.
My photo taking had by this time, ceased to exist as I was focusing on getting a place for the night before we exited the next day.

I know Jim and Tony took far more picks than me so they should be along to fill in a few blanks.

It was a great 7 days on a whistle stop tour of a fascinating country.

Next stop was Gibraltar followed by a 2 day blast across Spain to get to the Hiss Rally, but that's all on a different thread.

One burning question - as I see 2 beds and 3 helmets - not who got the big bed but who had to be the 'little spoon' :unsure:

The answer to your question is,-- I had the king size bed for getting us the room, Browndog my faithful companion slept at my side in the little bed.
Jims chez-lounge is out of shot in the hallway where he ended up after snoring his bloody head off!!

Now I thought he was in the hallway because of the little incident with the dropping of the towel from around his waist when the young Muslim girl was seeing to additional beds!
