I work on cruise ships. If you only feel nausia and dont actually vomit, ask your doctor for prochlyperyzine it is actually used for morning sickness, but has got me through the last 10 years.

Tramp, have 10 pints before the crossing and pass out for the duration. Best make it 15 pints as its a long crossing.

Motillium also quite effective i had it prescribed for seasickness in connection with my work
Enjoy your trip the biscay aint always rough i went down n back ok in april 2010 and it was fine !!!!!!!

but I could just about manage 2 pints let alone 10 :woohoo: I`m more of a recline on the deck in the sun with a bottle of Red person ...fall asleep and get sun burnt :lol:

I`ll get some nice pics of us all falling off..

I done portsmouth to le havre overnight three weeks ago in crappy weather, I took some sea sick tabs, can't remember what brand, had 6 cans of strongbow and we had a cabin.

I slept most of the way lol

I get motion sickness a fair bit, can't do simulator rides etc

I researched this a few years back when I took my family on a cruise.

Root ginger, bought from a supermarket, cut into small squares and chewed. It really does work.
