I think the soles wear out very fast. I remember a pair for sale second hand that had "very little use" but the soles were bold!
Ive had a pair of shoes for 5years that I wear daily for walking that still have a massive amount of tread left.

Would those be the ones worn a handful of times? Bloke with many fingered hands...CRAIGREVO wrote:I think the soles wear out very fast. I remember a pair for sale second hand that had "very little use" but the soles were bold! .

The boots are fantastic - but Craig is right the soles wear out very quick.CRAIGREVO wrote:I think the soles wear out very fast. I remember a pair for sale second hand that had "very little use" but the soles were bold!

There is a couple of threads on here with pics of the soles.
A new pair of soles are £35 and there is about a £15 resole cost too.
They are waterproof and are warm in winter, they have good ankle protection and the hinge works well for walking.

I would get the Adventure's if only I could wear out my Sidi Courier's!
The courier's are classed as waterproof, but not quite in my opinion. The sole is as good as new after 7 years & I would just about say they were run in.
Oh yes, they don't squeak either!

My mates got a pair and the soles aren't that soft, he has walked a fair few miles in his and they still look new.
