I have LED marker lights , and keep them on all the time ..

On a point of law it is illegal to use fog lights (front or rear) when it is not foggy.
But there's nothing to stop you having driving lights on at any time
Which seems strange as the latter are more likely to dazzle other drivers?

I saw naked roadster style bike with them at the bottom of the fork legs the other day. No good for the rough stuff I know but as they were a long way from the headlight they really drew attention to the oncoming bike and there was no way they could dazzle. The only worry I have with bright daytime lights is the masking of your approach speed but at least they have seen you in the first place.

I tend to leave mine on most of the time it makes you a bit more visable
You do get the odd flash but they are not really far reaching lights that BM fit so
I fitted a couple of spot lights above them as well

Maybe check your main light alignment, on the first gen Stelvio's they were know to be set for european driving on the right, could be the same issue. I've taken mine off while stripping off the bodywork and not re-fitted them yet, but I didn't use them when they were fitted.

Ignore the flashes, mate...Job done !! I never turn mine off, not even in midday sun.

Got flashed by a couple of cars earlier but I think that had something to do with the nice police man holding a hairdryer :whistle: :laugh:

I live in central Europe and the police will stop you if you have Aux or fog lights on in the day time. Once stopped they will then do a document and vehicel check its just not worth the hassel plus the on the spot fine.
However you do have to have your headlights on at all times(its the law) so most bikers run on main beam with loud pipes seems to work well, Can't talk about France(strange laws) but most European countries are the same.
In fact most vehicels in Europe now have there headlights switched on automaticaly at start up including bikes!

i tend to use mine selectivly but they are far too bright to leave on at night for oncoming traffic ..somtimes when approaching junctions i just flick the switch ...in close traffic they are mounted high and could be a pain in the ass to others set high as they are .. a bit of consideration doesnt hurt
i wired a roccker switch off the mirror mount so i can use them as and when i like with me left thumb ..just the same as a dip beam ..i thiink sometimes they are unreasonable bright when following in congeted traffic
