I generally think personalised plates are a bit 'YMCA' but yours is the exception B)

Still, £1,595 is a lot of money for a bit of cool ... someone's going to need very deep pockets to justify that (I'm wrestling with spending a couple of hundred on useful things like an oiler and set of bar risers )

Yeh it's a good plate but it's nearly half value of the bike

A little out of order I think to be commenting on the price someone wants for something on the for sale board. The value of anything is only what someone is prepared to pay for it, so if it's not for you that's fine, but it can cause the seller potential damage in terms of a possible sale so not the done thing, IMO.

A friend of mine just paid 6k for a car number plate!!! That's a new bike to me!

The original post was on here for 8 days without a single comment ...I thought a little light hearted chat would at least encourage some feedback / discussion / interest. Achieved that at least.

I wish DR all the best with the sale and of course any item is worth whatever it's worth to someone. I'm not questioning the asking price; nothing out of the ordinary for a personal plate. If I had the money I'd buy it in a second.

I`m not into personal plates but have to agree it`s pretty cool, only problem is I`d have to buy a KTM :whistle: :laugh:
