Anyone know the price of a Volvo 2003 S40

I'm going to be selling my volvo S40 saloon (red) on a 2003 plate in good condition so just wondered if anyone knew what to ask for a price. The car has 87000 miles air con and leather ect but I've lost my car price guide so wondered if anyone has one or if anyone could let me know what ones worth on a private sale. I was reckoning around the £2000 but dont know.

What engine? Transmission? Fuel? I know there is a massive price jump with the 2005 model though the older shape are still holding their price pretty well. I wouldn't be too surprised if you put it up for £2750 you could get £2500 though that depends on earlier questions. Good Luck!

Its a petrol 1.6 manual mate. I'm selling as i've got a discovery as well and i want to see if we can manage with just my bike and the disco (Help save a bit of money).Its fully serviced with mot until september and was owned by my dad (1st keeper) then me and now my wife (who does know im going to sell it) so three keepers on the v5. I don't know what that means in relation to sale price though :unsure:

Can mean a lot to the person with a sharp eye that's looking for one, it would mean a lot to me - describe it a 'family owned from new' perhaps. Defo advertise on volvoforums.org.uk and bring it along to the next meet just up the road from you in Ipswich! B)
