Hi Jim, judges deciion needed. I have been experimenting with taking photos on the move or capturing images from video. This is the worst of the bunch. Would you allow the above as Holloway, it is quite bad and the othera are alot better.

Can just about make it out - and it would be labeled as where it is, no reason to not believe you. If that's the worst of them, the others would be fine. ABR scrabble is mostly about getting out and exploring, which you are. Just remember need to be able to make out you're on a bike - again ok, just in this pic.

Brilliant means that I didn't lose most of todays ride. I will experiment with the camera position to try to get more of the bike in the shot.

Hi Jim, there are a couple of towns around me with the same name. Do you need some form of proof that they are different places or is it on trust? Didn't even realize this until you started me on this obsession with place names.

I trust you Paul - maybe put 'place name' near 'place name'

OK mate cheers for the reply, I have noticed that one of them has the district emblem on which would distinguish it.

Would you be happy with these? Both places that have no welcome to x signs at all. These were the only things that I could find with a name of the village on. The first is No Place, and the other Urpeth.

Hi Dave - I have already disallowed others from using notice board pics, so couldn't allow that one (reason: if i allow it, it could open the door to using all sorts of other signs). The second pic is fine though.
