Number increasing which is great. No limit on those wanting to come to the island on Saturday.

About a dozen camping Friday night as well. Trail ride filling up, couple of spaces left if you fancy it.

Great stuff baz. Haven't seen you since the national. Will be good to catch up and see your new bike.

Agree re packing. I've just binned it earlier on a trail. Far too top heavy. I'm taking bare min to piel........but I'm lucky it that ffi will be driving the 4x4 across, so I only need the bare min for the Friday nights camping.

Only a week to go now. Just got off the phone with Sheila from the island. They are looking forward to hosting the event again. I said there would be between 30-40 of us heading across. They needed a guide to numbers so they can get the staffing right.

Anymore up for this abr rally? Cracking event. Let's just hope for decent weather.

Great stuff, got my wife and dog coming as well (obviously not on a bike!). Another family outing. Dropping kids off at grandparents though...........

If anyone needs a lift across to the island (any pillions) theres space with my wife, or Sheila from the island will have space in her 4x4 as well. Or if you want any luggage shipping across??????

Remember, we all need to meet at Snab Point on Walney Island for the crossing. Walney island is the island just to the South of Barrow-In-Furness. If anyone doesn't know how to find this please let me know ASAP.

At snab point you will find a car park. This is where we are meeting. Its fairly easy to find. See map.

We depart from here at 14:30 on the dot. Please arrive early just incase. We cannot afford to wait on the mainland. Come 14:30 we will all cross. Please do not attempt to cross solo or in smaller groups. We have to cross with the guide from the island after a short briefing.

Not long now, cant wait. For those coming Friday night, see you at the campsite / local pub / trails in the area.

Any questions just ask.

Also, can everyone have a fiver handy please once on the island. Ill pop round and collect the £5 camping fee whilst you are all putting your tents up. That's £5 per tent (not person).

Friday night campers - there will be no one there when we arrive so just pitch where you want. The "collector" will be along Saturday morning if we are still around to pay!

Ta.
