Not being funny here James, but I will not be attending.
I find it pretty pathetic that amongst yourselves you have decided,
A) not to give mark1150 even a week to come back.
B. ) you can't think of anything else amongst yourselves, so delete the original thread and expect everyone to go along with it.
C) that with the new iron fist ruling, most of the original people behind this rally will not be going due to the fact this place has gone so much downhill.

Personally, I've made my own mind up about this site, and the iron fist / hitler like dictatorship began when this rally had the most enthusiastic guys working on it, and the dictatorship ruled that abr wouldn't allow us/ them to use it's name and that if we/ they wanted abr affiliation at the rally, we / they would have to sell abr merchandise for abr's gain. It is a load of corporate crap.

So anyway, I won't be going. I hope this hijacked idea goes very well for you and those that are too blind to see what's going on.

Au revior, Bon voyage, I'm out of here.

First - apologies to riders and readers for the public spat but I think it now important to answer.

No Ben, you're not funny on that we agree. But I am happy to answer your erroneous statements in public and leave it up. I think it is pathetic to jump on a forum without an email to gather information of what is going on rather than what you think is going on.

ABR will say what is going on with the ABR events, there should be no confusion with that and the events belong to ABR and the riders who want to come. It is a very laid back affair that we enjoy, well until this little power play. Who else would I ask?

People can come to the rally for a nice time and a look at the countryside or not.

A) Mark posted today that he would not be doing the rally and that it was his last post, so I have taken up the post to keep the event that belongs to ABR on for the people that may have committed time off work to go. So because a few threw the teddy out the cot I am not going to let them be without a rally. This was done at the request of another rider that it going to the event.

B ) The post is removed so that any future required additions or deletions will be email to me that there is a reply. Also information would not be able to be moved or deleted from my post, so the information is now secure for riders.

C) Glad you seem to speak for all on the matter as there is no Iron Fist, but it does sound dramatic does it not! But in the same vain ABR will not be 'held to ransom' on the rally events. They do not belong to you Ben or any Self made Committee. The ABR events are for all riders all over the country. You want to go camping with your mates, then go for it. You want to use ABR to advertise a national ABR Rally then pull a stunt when you don't get your own way - just kinda looks silly and sad to be honest.

Sell ABR merchandise - it is an ABR event of course there is going to be ABR stuff there. Perhaps there is the issue, you feel it was YOUR event and doing it for other reasons than just to let people have a nice time in pleasant company. I've had a glimpse of your company and I will give it a miss.

Sorry that you can't just do what you like with a company logo that people work at and pay their mortgages with Ben.

Anyway - I think I have answered you post so please feel free not to come.

I'm certainly not throwing my toys out, just voicing my opinion that I can't see how changing the rally over to anyone other than the locals will work. I was a bit shocked to see it so my response wasn't very wordy, but it wasn't against forum rules so why delete it?
