This is the proposed route to knock off four in one day at the nature rally :D

SWMBO will be on the back, think itll be too much to handle?!

That mileage should be OK if you don't mind a long day – don't forget to add in the time stopped at each location too; if you said 30 mins at each for a photo and a cuppa you've added 2 hours to your overall day before you start.

Yeah thats a fair comment - Im wondering if its worth knocking off the lower three, then getting northumberland another day..

from windermere that should be more than do,able.
as once you've got to whitby, your never far from dual carriage way
to cover the miles quickly.
