Another crazy ride James - You don't make it easy for yourself.
Sorry to say you'll have to do the last one again - can't make out the location.
You've still got time.

ONLY JOKING :P WELL DONE MATE!!!!
Silver and gold certificates on the way to you (will be in the new year - files are on my work computer)

And thanks for organising such a great event. Have a good new year.

Allow me to answer you, Mr Fantrider B) you may recall weather warnings of 50 mph winds yesterday? :P
I`m lording it up in front of my logburner in France so can`t possibly comment on the British weather :P

We already new`it was the latter ;) but next time you take mrs 691 on a winter adventure give her more than your summer cast offs and a T shirt!

I knew you would go again to finish it, a walk in the park! Well done ;)
It would have eaten you up worse than me if you hadnt
Happy New Year

Nice one James.

Can you give me a bit of a ride report concerning your bike. Has it been reliable, what does she do to the gallon etc. Been looking for a Red/White/Blue Varadero for months, but don't seem to be any available (well the ones that are are too far to go and have a look at)

Really want to get one in the next few months.

Blimey James,
What was the total mileage of this sojourn ?
Seems I missed out on this challenge, may grasp the nettle & throw down the gauntlet for the Holy Grail, "It's only a model "
Have a safe 2012 may see you around maybe during working hours on the road !

Hi Loggy!

I've just done about 2000 words on the performance of the Varadero for the next issue of ABR - so you will be able to check out all the mpg, faults and favorite features in the article mate. Looks like it will be a good issue for you to check out :)

Hi Stubbsie,

I think the total mileage was about 1500 - 1600 but it was the 50mph gusting winds that made the ride far more arduous than normal for me! The factor that most of the roads would swp down to B class made it great fun. Running my ass across the open high moorland in those gusts had me down to 10mph at times and leaning into the wind like an iron yacht!

Bloody great fun and loved every minute.

Looking forward to see you out and about on the grail run and indeed seeing you on the roads or at an ABR rally mate.

Nice one mate, thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't miss the mag anyway, even though I have issue 7 and 8 yet to read lol...
