Current thinking is that it would be easier to provide a gpx file for any road riders that have sat nav. That way you go at your own pace, stop when you want - everybody's happy
If I create a file, is there any limitation on the number of waypoints?
I recall tom tom may be 45? but garmin is much better?
What do you want?

Re: gpx file for road riders
Older Garmins had a limit of 50... IIRC Modern ones can go up to 200, but I reckon 40 maybe a good number.Barnman wrote:Current thinking is that it would be easier to provide a gpx file for any road riders that have sat nav. That way you go at your own pace, stop when you want - everybody's happy

Or save it as a track as I think most will allow a lot more=re track points.

Re: gpx file for road riders
good idea, my zumo400 stores 200 waypoints, not sure about tracks ive never bothered with them.
but the file will be helpful anyhow, mapsource will take it and it can be played with for our own individual satnags
