Planned Run up to ACE Cafe

Post by les049 »

Right Guys and Gals, I am off up the ACE at about 0800 hrs on this Sunday from Portsmouth. Was thinking about leaving from Micks burgervan on top of Portsdown at that time going straight up no messing about. Meeting with some guys from the GS website to talk over next years RBLR1000 miler.

Anyone fancy tagging along ?

C'mon Dave tell you need to go out to play. there's a bacon sarnie and a mug of tea with yer name on it !
Bluey, Freeloadeur I am planning to be there for 10-1030hrs, silver 1200 with RBLR lions head crest on it's beak and obligitory ABR on it's screen.

hmm i can take or leave the inlaws les, to be honest its the 0800 start thats putting me off, its the autumn beerfest in the local saturday afternoon/night. this'll be the third ABR thing ive begged off for being bladdered. getting to be a habit but i dont want to be a 'morning after' breath test statistic

How are you planning on riding up from Portsmouth? If you're thinking of coming through town watch out Hammersmith bridge seems to have a mind of its own as to whether it's open or not. Mind you we've found the quickest way to and from Portsmouth is usually A3 » M25 » M40 » A40 » A406, and that's by car, so by bike it should be even quicker.
