ABR BOIL RALLY 8th-11th May 2014.

For the fourth consecutive year the original ABR rally is open to sign up.
As usual Jessie will be in attendance with her delicious Curry. I have been collecting wood for the communal fire all winter and I am sure that we can find a suitably unhinged person who will enjoy taking care of it.
For those who have never been before, Takoda is just a short walk from the Market town of Kirkby Stephen where there are,
four pubs, a co-op and a spar, two Chinese restaurants and Indian and four chippies. There is a Barclays bank and HSBC both with a hole-in-the- wall.

There is of course also a selection of gift shops for your Kirkby Stephen Stickers, postcards and fridge magnets.

We are central to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and North Pennines which boast some of the best roads and scenery that this fair Isle has to offer and Saturday is ride out day.
We will I am sure be able to find a few volunteers to lead these, James 691 is always a hot favorite for the Lakes passes and Pete usually volunteers for the Pipe and slippers run which takes in the north peninnes heading for Britain's highest town Alston where the route heads toward a few Lakeland surprises and fantastic photo opportunities.
You are of course free to discover the area for yourselves and I can always print off some of my favorite routes if you like.
