Will just provide an early heads up for the Saturday run.

The route will take us through the Sperrins which will mainly be single track tarmac roads, some in not great condition. We will generally head north and end up in Limavady where we will head for Downhill. From there we will head back inland towards Coleraine, Bushmills and lunch at Ballycastle. After lunch we will do the causeway coast back towards Portrush, stopping at Ballintoy and The Giants Causeway, plus several short photo/ smoke stops We will then return via Dungiven and back through the Sperrins to Draperstown

If breakfast is not provided at the campsite I will find somewhere were we can stop shortly after depart. (9am)

The run should be no more than 200 miles.

It will be subject to change, if the weather for the intended route is not good

I will provide a more detailed route closer to the date

Fabulous route that one, especially Ballycastle. We also took in Dark Hedges. A good smoke and photo stop.

Lunch at Ballycastle was an interesting episode, parked up on the sea front and headed into the restaurant alongside the car park for lunch. They served a few and then decided they were closing and refused to serve any more. Every single place up north I have to say has been absolutely fantastic but that place sure took the biscuit and left a very bad taste. Fortunately we had been to Ballycastle often enough to know it was a one off and there is always one. We did find somewhere else and got what turned out to be a far better lunch that came with a real smile to make our day.

On a nice day the sea front is awesome and the best lunch is probably a good old traditional fish and chips on the sea front, followed by ice cream while enjoying the view seaward. Ballycastle and the North Antrim coast in sunshine is better than any other place I have seen.

I cant comment on not good weather because every time we go up north we get endless sunshine........last time we met up at Newcastle on Sunday morning then I headed off into the Mournes and eventually left Castlewellan at 6pm the same evening with 420kms for home...

Hi Heff, I've moved this thread into it's own topic header, any future threads relatng to the rally post there.

Also, could you put myself and my missus, Euni as provisionals.
We are definately gonna be in NI so will try and make the dates match.
Be nice to meet some of you guys. (thumbs)
