Nick, when you have a van to move the bikes with, the idea is to take
the ramp with you.
Cheers Jed

I know ! That bl**dy robbery has put me right out of sync. Plus the van had a recall for new software last Friday, had two fronts fitted (to save time) and (after having it all day, they rang me 5.30 to say there was a nail in a rear side wall ? *we cant do it today as it's too late"............ At some point I took the ramp out.

It's gotta be someone else's fault ? :) :) :)

Sounds like you need a nice relaxing week end in the country.

Short notice I know but am still hoping to make this, Saturday and Sunday only. Do you know what time the road ride group is planning to leave?

I would think 9.30/10.00. That's the usual sort of time.

I have been notified by my Off Road leaders that due to family and work commitments they will not now be available to attend. Is there anyone else who is coming able to volunteer to lead the off road group on Saturday morning. As an alternative one of the leaders has suggested that a Friday night off road ride out might be possible if anyone is interested ?

If you can supply the route or tell me where the area for the off road ride was planned for I'm happy to have a go :woohoo:

I used to live around that area so know it vaguely.

I've not read back through the pages so apologies if this has been suggested already, have a word with your local TRF Group, they may be able to help. :)

Local TRF is Hertfordshire. Mario. Might be worth a phone call if you go on the webiste.
There isn't really anywhere in the area with a 'sequence' of lanes that follow on from one an other.
Best bet is to get an O.S map and have a look.
2nd best is to go onto Trailwise and have a browse.
3rd is to find 'Totternhoe' which is a large 'ish' area with a sequence of a few lanes. There are also a couple around Ashridge forest then Berkhampstead onto Chesham. Also a couple over at Woburn Sands (SAND!)..OR if you're brave enough research the lanes around Silverstone race track....
4th best is I'll see what time I finish work and go from there.

Cheers Ollie.
