Re: Holy Island crossing times
good advice,
in my youth i was a very keen sea kayaker.
we used to time the tides so that come closing time
the tide was in. meant that no police, and the pubs wouldn't close.
have a beer or two and bivvy by the upturned fishing boats.
must be a quiet spot to do it with the bike.
remember though that officially you are not allowed to
camp overnight on the island.

Not a good place to be stuck at the wrong time.
Chaos is the only camouflage that incompetence needs to operate at full capacity.
I dunno where that road goes, might as well go take a look anyway there's no where else i need to be right now.

In reality you won't get much sympathy from the authorities up here if you do get caught out,it's frowned upon as being a waste of tax payers dosh.
