visiting durham cathedral - BEWARE

visit before 10am and after 16.00
you may be fined if you dont pay for entering the congestion zone.

Exemptions
The following vehicles are automatically exempt from the charge when exiting the Durham Road User Charge Zone (congestion charge) and do not need to be registered with the Parking Shop for a licence:
Any two wheeled motorbikes (and sidecars), mopeds and bicycles.
