Dear friends, I am unable to access the ABR website at present, a technical issue at their end I think.

Due to a family tragedy I am sorry to announce that this years ABR rally in May at Takoda Camping in Cumbria has been cancelled.

It is also highly probable that our site will be closed permanently.

Please spread the word in advance of being able to access ABR

Let's hope the DVT has cleared up by then, 'cos I missed the last Over the Border do at your place & am still on the hunt for a Do'

I dont know what DVT is wilbur but I hope it clears up too, it would be really nice to spend more time with you. we have loads of cuckoos, sorry Pigeons around here....

Paul. DVT = Deep Vein Thrombosis = a Blood Clot, in my case, in the back of my left calf.

Seeing a Haemotologist (Blood Specialist) on Wednesday, who should give some idea of the cause & how long the treatment will go on for.

At the moment it is 8mg of Warfarin every evening & gentle walks only, with "light duties" at work :laugh:

7th is a Thursday? Saturday is my birthday so that would be a handy excuse to get a little tipsy
