Checking browser has stopped but it still opens to a blank page sometimes.

It's very annoying having this stupid screen up for 5 to 10 seconds.

It's been checking my trousers every time I go in. I've swapped from trackies to some smart corduroys to see if that'll help...

If it helps stop the site being used by the bot posts then it's worth the 5 second wait ;)

But why just this site?
Never seen it anywhere else and it’s damn irritating.

Don’t know too much about he technicalities but it says it’s checking my (your) browser. As far as know, BOTs aren’t operated from private browsers.. My guess is that whoever hosts this site has some security issues and this browser check is some kind of belt and braces security. It is annoying though.
