Handheld GPS???? Help!!!!

Can some one help me out in layman terms?? I need a cheap handheld GPS unit to plot out some land for woodland planting. I will have the coordinates and I just want to know the cheapest GPS unit I could use to plot them. Any recommendations?? Thanks in advance.

If you have a smartphone just download one of the free GPS apps - they should tell you where you are. Go to the approximate area and fire the app up and it will tell you your current co-ordinates. GPS Essentials is one such app for Android.

What he said or the Garmin etrex range will do it too. Very cheap especially second hand.
