Merry Christmas everybody,
For those of you needing to burn off some calories, want a laugh and get some fresh air then please accept our warm invitation to come and watch or ride at our Boxing Day Madness Trial tomorrow starting at 11:00 (or thereabouts!).
We will be up in the mud and rocks, hopefully some snow too, at ‘Watty’s’ off Sandhill Lane. Signs off A626 Maple Bridge - Glossop road approx. About 2 miles from Marple Bridge. Close post code SK6 5NP. OS grid ref: SJ 994 908. Lat 53.413564 Long -2.0107535
The course is wholly on private ground and will probably consist of about 10 sections and 4 laps. There will be 3 routes. The easy (white markers) route will have simple easy sections such as those on the hard route of a Dead Easy trial. The middle (yellow markers) route will have natural sections with some need for technical riding such as in a more traditional "club" trial. The hard route (red and blue markers) will be of a more technical and athletic nature requiring skills and effort as would be expected in a good "Centre" trial.
Butty van available and our President can normally be found wandering around giving out seasonal mince pies.
TTFN
Hugh.
