Hi there,

Your best bet is to join the Trail Riders Fellowship (www.trf.org.uk), and buy Ordnance Survey maps of the area

There is an active North Wales TRF Group who will be pleased to show you around/help you mark up the maps with legal, rideable routes.

BTW there are or were some commercially available maps purporting to show legal routes...but not all the routes were legal and some of them were heavily policed. The police were even using helicopters to stamp out the serious crime that is riding on not-legal tracks (well you can't blame them: it's much more fun than trying to catch drug dealers).
