Slow, easy trails in the peaks mid week evenings.

Post by Jak* »

Hi I just got back from a two hour bimble around my local lanes. Left about seven and got back around nine, a great ride just had to watch out for the low sun when heading west. The lanes around here are really dry at the moment. If anyone fancies joining me at the same sort of time one day next week (not Thursday or Friday) let me know. I live in Wirksworth near Matlock and people could meet me here or I am happy to meet up anywhere within about twenty mile.

Might take you up on that offer work permitting. I am based in Chesterfield so not far away.
I work to live. I live to ride. I ride to work, Ever felt like your going in circles.

I'd be up for this - Sheffield - If it really is slow and easy trails my wife might come to, work permitting.

Cheers

Hi, How about next Tuesday, meet at the garage at Sainsburys in Matlock at 7 pm. I will plan a route to get us back to Matlock for about 9 pm. Those who want to can go for a drink somewhere local after. The idea is to make the most of the light so we will try to keep moving. Most of the trails will be the ones that we did on the Slow Easy big bike ride in the Peaks a few weeks ago. At the moment everything is so dry it should all be manageable on larger bikes or with semi off road tyres. I am happy to lead on the road bits and let the faster riders go first on the trails.
If someone wants to arrange something different the following week that would be great. If anyone wants more details let me know.
