Just to let you know that Staffordshire CC has as an Emergency Closure placed a TTRO on both sections of Hollinsclough. This action apparently is required because of severe land slippage.

Greetings folks,
Chris Mitchell of GLASS and PDVUG has kindly updated information about the two routes, Limers & Swan Rakes, often commonly referred to locally as Hollinsclough.
The TTRO at Swan Rake and Limer Rake has been extended until February 2020. The notice issued by Staffordshire CC says:
LIMERS RAKE AND SWAN RAKE, HOLLINSCLOUGH
DIVERSION OF ALL TRAFFIC INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, VEHICLES AND HORSES
NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 28 February 2017, made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any members of the public, whether on foot, horseback, in a vehicle or otherwise, from accessing the following:
The entire length of Limers Rake, from its junction with FP No. 22 Hollinsclough in a north easterly, northerly, westerly and then southerly direction, a total distance of approximately 980 metres to its junction with FP No. 30 Hollinsclough
The Green Lane known as Swan Rake, from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 113 metres in a westerly direction
EXCEPT for pedestrians who may proceed or have access between the junction of Limers Rake with the public highway known as Public Footpath 22 Hollinsclough Parish to its junction with Public Footpath 21 Hollinsclough Parish during the hours between dawn to dusk.
An alternative route for traffic is available via Redfern Lane, Coatestown Lane, Redfearn Lane and Hollinsclough Rake.
The Order came into operation on 02 March 2017.
The Order will remain in force for another period of 18 months or until the danger to users of Limers Rake and Swan Rake, Hollinsclough has been removed, whichever is the earlier.

It must be a big problem seeing as they've been working on it for 3 years
