Re: Rallymoto Sprint - Sunday 26th May
Didn't you go on reserve before completing 2 laps at Pikes Peak and weren't you sweating in case you couldn't quite make the 2nd lap before running out?MarkR wrote:9.5 litres is enough for anybody....
I've got a 13 litre tank and hit reserve just as we finished the 2nd lap but I've got quite a healthy reserve on the bigger tank
Re: Rallymoto Sprint - Sunday 26th May
But it was enough
Once I got over forgetting that you have to physically switch to reserve.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, bwaaaaaaa, bwaaaa, bw.

I should be there too, just need some parts for the bike first.
Re: Rallymoto Sprint - Sunday 26th May
Well my first post is now correct, entries do close on Friday
Don't worry about fuel, it's a shorter lap than the Pikes Peak and you can refuel every lap if you wish.
No boggy bits either (well there wasn't last year) remember it's a grade 1 event so the easiest there is (Pikes Peak was a grade 2 - the scale goes from 1 to 5, five being the hardest courses).
Entries are looking up too, they were at 34 when I first posted, now up to 54 so looking hopeful, the Pikes Peak ran with 61 so here's hoping it's enough.
