So, I'm insured through CN and they've let me down badly (well partly).
I asked for them to insure me through Aegis but they said Aegis wouldn't insure my XT660R so they insured me with Aviva (several months ago) bikes are an XT660R, a K1100LT and an AJP PR5 Enduro.
Strangely though they insured a friend's Tenere on Aegis, but he doesn't have a small dirt bike (he has another couple of bikes on the policy, nothing risky).
Anyway... CN/Aviva can't give me a green card for Albania, Kosovo or Macedonia. But they can for Bosnia and Montenegro (at a cost of £55 for two weeks!)
I could insure my XT660R with Aegis TPO at a cost of £260 with zero no claims (since no claims stays with the current policy)... so that's not going to happen.
So, the option I see is pay £55 for a Green Card for Bosnia and Montenegro and buy insurance at the border for Albania and Macedonia.
Any other options?

Re: Sort out insurance...
Bad form and all that...
But I've found this:
http://www.lobagola.com/tours-and-servi ... rance.html
Which offers Green Cards, but not for the Balkans. Apparently they will 'soon'- but I'm not sure what 'soon' means.

I use a German company and sort out my Green Card before I go ( much easier than trying to purchase at a border)

Re: Sort out insurance...
A few years ago CN did cover me for Albania and Macedonia--I think the issue is EU membership-or not. Just a word of caution--crossing into Albania by a less well used route might mean that you can't get insurance at the border--and then will have to hunt around on the dirt roads of the nearest town to find a "broker"[email protected] wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2016 5:16 pm So, I'm insured through CN and they've let me down badly (well partly).
