Unfortunately Patsy Quick took a tumble today, stage 3, on the Africa Eco Race.
She has a broken ankle, some broken ribs and a possible fractured shoulder.
There were some quick sections today and I think that it was on one of these that she had the off.

Another Desert Rose Racing rider, Andrew Newland, is also out with a broken collar bone.
He took a tumble in the dunes.

On a positive note, my mate Chris is up to position eight overall.
Plus Matt, Robin, Jamie and Mike are all doing well.

I had a chat with Patsy today, she isn't quite sure where in Morocco she is, but she is in a military hospital.
She is in fairly high spirits despite everything, totally bored, but OK.

Hopefully she will be allowed to come home tomorrow or Monday. (thumbs)

The rest of the Desert Rose Team are doing OK, some more than others, but all 'Cracking On!' Zippy reliably informs me. (thumbs) (thumbs)
