This Years Daker coverage

Post by Whippet »

 Can anyone advise me how I can get coverage of this years Dakar Rally ?
I have a dish on my roof but do not subscribe to any channel.
Is Eurosport Covering it? Any advice on how to get it without subscribing to Sky would be much appreciated (thumbs)

I subscribe to Eurosport player online for just online month, plug the laptop into the TV via an HDMI lead, log on to Eurosport player and watch it whenever I want. Last year it cost me £2.99 :)

So the online Eurosport show more than the one hour special each night?

I've done this for a couple of years now and it works fine. I find the Eurosport coverage is usually the best I can find on any TV then keep up to date with the more nitty gritty details on forums.

All you get on eurosport is talking, talking to someone else, some talking and if youre lucky maybe some footage.

Be careful what you subscribe to I did the £2.99 I think last year, thinking it was for a month and ended up subscribing for £2.99 a month for 12 months. Eurosport don't answer e mails or enter into any form of communication!! Not much I know and there were some other rally highlights through the year but just to warn you. It is about the only choice. Also the schedules move a lot so recording is a bit hit and miss and it's usually about 11pm most nights.

There are various channels in Chile and Argentina that stream live footage. I haven't got them handy at the moment but when I find them again I'll post them.
It'll end in tears I tells ya.
