Anybody got any advance info on this that's not on the website @ the moment.
It's of interest to me but Andorra insurance @ 50euros a day seems a bit steep.

That looks interesting. The day licence will be non negotiable with Andorra's race org so you are stuck with that same as our ACU or ORPA ones albeit much cheaper. I assume it will be on road/closed roads so will be pricey? I have done a couple of Chris Evans events and had a ball riding, back up and social so would recommend him at least. The nav will be spot on too. Cyril is a gent too and if he has the time makes the effort to be human unlike some stars/celebs....unless even the smallest element of competition is present then he needs to whoop your arse which was fun to watch. Don't know the others but if Benji or John turn up then it will be a scream. Keep us posted B)

I made an inquiry regarding Ferry discount for the event. This was the response.

Hello Brian,

Many thanks for your interest on our event!

Concerning your request we inform you that we are in contact with Brittany Ferries for a discount. We will inform you about as soon as possible.

In terms of the organisation the entry fee will be 1.250 € and this will include 4 nights full board accommodation, loan of navigation equipment, mechanical support, sweeper trucks etc.

We will get in touch with you very soon with some more information, in the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact us for any further details or checkout the website www.andorra500.com

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Helena

I don't think this includes the compulsory licence/insurance which is 150 euros for the three competition days.

I wouldn't mind doing something like that and it looks ideal for my Laverda Monjuic. The only potential problem is that it's a bit noisy and I'd hate to go all the way there to be noise tested and bunged out.
