Re: Dakar 2014
Cant wait for the 2014 Dakar. Gonna be a good one with the mighty Cyril swapping sides. Just hope the rally still operating in 5 years time. I'm going to be 50 so trying to convince the Mrs we should celebrate I made it to 50 by watching the start of it
Re: Dakar 2014
I prefer the old rally before the mega bucks took over and it became so corporate! Gotta admire how fast the top guys go nowadays tho! :woohoo:
Re: Dakar 2014
Shameless name drop warning..... I can confirm that Mr Despres is match fit as we were riding with him a couple of weeks ago in the hills. He was on a very nice blue reverse head 450 which sounded luverly. I obviously gave him a few riding tips to help him along
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.
Re: Dakar 2014
can a moderator move this from COMPETITIONS please? i got all excited then, thought i was going to win a trip to the land of BBQ beef ribs and guinea pig fricassee
i watched all of five minutes of last[this?] years race, tv coverage has got worse and worse every year and last time was the last straw, 50% ads, 20% interviews, 9% each for cars trucks and bikes then a few dregs for the interesting things
is there another way to see it better apart from going there and hire a helicopter?
