We have loads and loads of moles in our lawn every year. I just ignore them now. I kick over the mole hills and just get mowing. Live and let live. I quite like the little buggers. I picked one up once and escorted it out to the forest. I don't like killing animals. It probably beat me back to the garden underground!

I had to rotovate a 30 x 30m area of grass in our garden last autumn as the moles had made it almost too dangerous to walk on as their runs were so close to the surface. Although we had trapped them quickly, some were too stealthy so had done their damage before they popped their hills up....then they curled their toes up
The field is 9 acres and then 2 acres of woodland but they don’t go there.
